About Blur types:

Box Blur = Always          … with 3-4 iterations by default, and this is 32bits compatible + photo look!
Fast Blur = Sometimes  … uses the exact same blur engine as Gaussian Blur with a very important “repeat edge pixels” option.
Gaussian Blur = Never  … it is obsolete and slow.
