  1. CTRL+g, Select child, Select parent, CTRL+p, Select Child, Reset transforms, CTRL+P, CTRL+G

  2. There are a simpler way to do that:
    Just use from the constraint menu> parent constrain, without maintain offset option, then freeze transform, and delete the constrain:)
